Teen H.E.R.O. is a teen-run volunteer group through the Glen Rock Jewish Center. It is open to any member of the GRJC from 7th grade to 12th grade.

Teens can come to our volunteer events, which are held either at the temple or at local organizations. If an event is held at somewhere other than the temple, we will meet at the temple and then carpool to the events.

The board will be keeping a tally of the hours people earn through teen H.E.R.O., and these hours will be signed off at the end of the year by our adult adviser.

Examples of the kind of volunteer events we will be doing are sorting and handing out food at the Center for Food Action, serving food at Eva's Kitchen and working for Habitat for Humanity for our older teens, making cards for Glen Rock Soldiers, and holding food drives for various organizations.
